The notes of violas and violins invade the corridors of the Department of Hematology and Transplantation
The notes of violas and violins have crossed the rooms of the complex Structure of Hematology and Transplantation of the hospital of Perugia. Strong> A sweet echo between the corridors of the department led by Professor Brunangelo Falini who has regenerated the many patients who are struggling for their healing. To bring this afternoon of relief the musicians of the Conservatory of Perugia strong>, Giulia Capacci and Aurora Bacchiorri to the violin with Francesca Menna alla Viola, led and accompanied by music therapist Fabrizio Tiezzi, at the keyboard. The concert, organized by the Committee for Life “Daniele Chianelli” strong>, was an opportunity to distract and give a little ‘of serenity to the many patients of the Department. Many attended the performance, while those who could not leave the room enjoyed the music from their bed: a repertoire of classical and popular pieces and more recent pieces, many of which composed by Tiezzi himself.
“Music therapy – said the president, Franco Chianelli strong> – is one of the activities supported by our Committee, together with art therapy, cultural mediation, social assistance, psychological counseling that together with volunteers, clowns, teachers, at the religious service.
